The Great Wall of Oakland

The Great Wall of Oakland illuminates Uptown Oakland with curated, large-scale projections of the most cutting-edge video art, film, aerial dance, and music from around the world reaching thousands of Bay Area art fans each month. Since 2007, the Great Wall has been transforming the 100'x100' blank wall at the corner of West Grand and Broadway Avenue into a mesmerizing urban screen for a diverse base of viewers during the city’s biggest cultural draw, the Oakland Art Murmur and at other specially programmed events.
